The Dyson 360 Eye is one of such vacuum cleaners that has been in the market for more than 10 years, and has returned with remarkable updates. Even though it didn’t address much of the inherent issues associated with its use, the Dyson 360 Eye vacuum cleaner boasts to be the first vacuum cleaner that was recommended to users and one of the earliest to hit the vacuum cleaner market.

Dyson 360 Eye Vacuum Cleaner is a robotic cleaner known to the US home appliance market. The Dyson’s squat bot-like cylinder was first announced in 2014 and launched as a consumer product in Japan in 2015. As at this time, most homes in North America were just getting familiar with Dyson’s entrance into the world of robotics, but the experience grew with remarkable speed and efficiency in the coming years, which is now.

The navigation (360 vision) system is the greatest thing about this vacuum cleaner, which makes it a must have for all robot-vac enthusiasts.

Dyson Features at A Glance

What to Expect from the Dyson 360 Cleaner

Just like with every other Dyson vacuum cleaners, expect the 360 to be a well-framed product. Right from the smooth and excellent chrome-like design to the tablet-like charging added port of the 360 showcases top quality. Going by beautiful and excellent design alone, there is nothing that you wouldn’t like about this vacuum.

It is noteworthy that the Dyson 360 is a tall robotic vacuum cleaner. It is about 2 inches taller compared to the Roomba and the company’s representative contend that this height is the lowest they can attain, because they need to incorporate the dust bin and the cyclonic filtration system. No doubt, this is one of the best and high quality of all bag-less vacuums considering the ability to capture fine microscopic dirt.

The V2 motor found in older series of Dyson are used by engineers to provide decent suction. These motors are, the DC44 and DC35. Although this won’t match up to the sheer power of the Upright if we are to compare, no other robovacs comes close to the Dyson 360 Eye.

Dyson goes revolutionary by ditching traditional means of control for a highly-developed application aimed at controlling the robot. To connect the robot and the app, you will have to first login into the robot’s own secure Wi-Fi Network, with a password that is boldly printed on the manual.

Some reviewers have noted that at this initial stage, some connection issues are experienced when trying to login to the robot. However, we have discovered that restarting the app should resolve such a problem in most cases.

Once you have successfully connected the app, you can schedule cleaning task for the vacuum cleaner at your own time and pace. The app will help you to view and clarify the area being cleaned by the robot. Lastly, you can also use the app to stop and restart the robotic cleaner even while at work.
